CVA’s shorter barreled muzzleloader where the MR stands for Mountain Rifle featuring 26″ fluted premium Bergara barrel. The MR-X is designed for both light weight and easy to carry weather in the mountains, tree stands or heavy terrain. Features include quick-take down design for easy cleaning and compact transport, a carbon fiber Palm Saver ramrod, an adjustable comb for perfect eye-to-sight alignment with open sights, Dura sight Weaver/Picatinny rail, fast rifling twists for optimal performance with modern projectiles and propellants, and a threaded muzzle which allows the use of CVAs Paramount Muzzle Brake for magnum charge shooting with minimal recoil. Adjustable trigger with trigger guard actuated breech system, Quake Claw sling. Package includes mounted KonusPro 3-9X40 IR BDC reticle scope and soft gun case.
